

Leo J. Pflug, 88, of Toms River, NJ passed away on July 25, 2018 at his home. Born in Long Island City, NY, Leo grew up in Cranford, NJ and lived in Clark, NJ for 36 years and in Middletown, NJ for 3 years before moving to the Toms River area in 2002. Leo was a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea from 1950-1952. . He was a 50 year member of Local 4 and 34 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen. Leo loved to Golf, Bowl, Garden and helping his kids. Leo also enjoyed working for Meals on Wheels delivering meals to the elderly.
Leo was predeceased by his wife Theresa Anne; his sons John and James; and his sister Madeline Johnson. He is survived by 3 sons, Leo, Jr. and his wife Donna of Berkeley Heights, NJ, Jeff of Rahway, NJ, and Joe and his girlfriend Jenn Mount of Oxford, NJ; his daughter Nancy Kurica and her husband Corey of Absecon, NJ; his brother Carl William Pflug, MD of Sarasota, FL; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Plominski ( nee Pflug) and her husband Kevin, Angela Nisivoccia (nee Pflug) and her husband Mike, Matthew Perez and his wife Mandy and Monica Perez, Dustin Pflug and his wife Kelly, Jamilee Hollar (nee Pflug) and her husband Ash, Kelli Pflug, Michael Pflug and Kristy Pflug and his great-grandson Aiden Hollar.
Inurnment with committal prayers and Military Honors will take place on Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 11:30 am at the chapel at Brig. Gen. Wm C Doyle Veterans Cemetery.
