Margaret A. Caruso of the Silver Ridge Park East section of Berkeley Twp., passed away on Sunday June 21, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ she lived in West Orange for many years before moving to Berkeley Township in 1980.She worked as a secretary to the mayor of West Orange, NJ for 23 years retiring in 1979. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church and former member of the Silver Ridge Park Bowling and Golf Clubs.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Arthur V. Caruso, her sister Mary Ann Hines and two brothers, James and Earl Atchison. She is survived by her son Charles T. Caruso, her grandson David A. Caruso, her sister Ellen O’Sullivan and brothers Walter and Earl Atchison and one grandson.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday June 25, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:00AM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church Toms River. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
