Margaret J. “Peggy” Martin, 69, of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at her home. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington, Union and Waldwick before moving to Toms River in 1978. She was the owner/operator of Peggy Martin Homemaker Services for 35 years. She dedicated her life to assisting others which she felt was a calling. Her kindness and consideration for those she helped was always appreciated by their families.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; a daughter, Kimberly Carles and her husband, George; a son, John Martin, Jr. and his wife, Molly; and also 3 grandchildren, Alexa Carles, Georgie Carles, and John L. “LJ” Martin III.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 21, 2016 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Toms River.
