Millie Samaritano, 79, of Toms River passed away at her home on Saturday, June 5, 2010. Born on November 20, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Mary Volino, she lived in Wantagh, NY, prior to moving to Toms River in 1986.
Mrs. Samaritano is survived by her husband Vincent Samaritano of Toms River, her son, Joseph Samaritano of New York, her two daughters, Frances Mungavin of New York and Mary Zarek and her husband Tom of New York, her seven grandchildren; John, Christopher, Lynn-Ann, Michael, Nicole, Amanda and Kaylee and her eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jeannie Bini of New York and Dotty Bilancione of Florida and her brother, Peter Volino of New York.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 8 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 7:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in honor of Vincent to the Alzheimers Assoc., PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.
