Nancy Joan Corsaro

Nancy Joan Corsaro, 81, of Toms River passed away on April 22, 2015 . Family were Nancy's love and joy . Her home was her haven.She loved her dog Maggie. Born in New York , she resided in Canarsie ,Brooklyn where she graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School. She moved to Emerson , NJ in 1963 where she lovingly raised her family prior to moving to Toms River ,NJ in 1987. A trained bookkeeper, Nancy was employed by the Essex House Hotel where she celebrated her marriage to her husband of 61 years , Robert Corsaro Sr. She was also employed ,years later, by Westwood Auto Leasing. In addition, she loved her job at the Emerson Junior Senior High School, Emerson NJ , where she worked in the Guidance Department for years.She is predeceased by her mother , Connie , her aunt Angie , and her sister , Grace Caronia. Nancy was the devoted wife of Robert Corsaro Sr. She was the loving mother of Robert Corsaro Jr . and his wife Valerie , and loving mother and best friend to Nancy Corsaro Jr. . Her grandchildren Andrew Beuschel Jr , Lauren Corsaro , and Drew Corsaro were her world , her pride , and her joy and she loved spending as much time as possible with them. She spent countless hours home making and holiday making and made it all look effortless. Our house was always filled with people,delicious food , love and memories made. She never met a person in need that she didn't find a way to help. In her honor , please read the poem "The Dash" and live your dash.
