Nancy J. Martin

Nancy J. Martin, 75, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Nancy was born in Washington, PA., and had lived in Deal, Wanamassa and Howell, NJ before moving to Toms River 3 years ago. Nancy graduated Nursing School from Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune, NJ and was a registered Oncology Nurse with Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune for most of her career. Towards the end of her career Nancy also worked at Community Medical Center, Toms River and for some private practice physicians.

Nancy enjoyed watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins as well as Boston College Football. She loved being able to watch Revival Today and Good News Chapel ministries which led to her strong faith and joy of being able to see her niece and nephew lead those ministries. Most importantly Nancy loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Daniel and her four children; Melissa Young and her husband Christian, Michael Duffy and his wife Erika, Ryan Martin and his partner Jacqueline Illig, Thomas Martin and his wife Rebecca, her seven grandchildren; Caiden, Ileigh, Elle, Dylin, Kaia, Lucy and Jack. Also surviving are her four sisters, Linda Giacchetto, Luann (Jay) Vaccaro, Cathy Duncan, Judy (Tiff) Shuttlesworth and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Most beloved by her furbaby Archie.

A Visitation for Nancy will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 9-11 am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ. A Celebration of Life will begin promptly at 11:00 am. Committal will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
