Patricia A. Mullen

Patricia A. Mullen, 78, of Toms River, passed away at her home on Saturday March 29, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born and raised in Jamaica Plains, MA and lived in Elizabeth, NJ for 11 years before moving to Toms River in 1969. She worked as a telephone operator for New England Bell for 5 years and than NJ Bell and AT&T before her retirement in 1999. Pat loved to shop and loved her family dearly.

Pat was predeceased by her husband Bill in Dec. 2013 and missed him terribly. She is survived by her children, Michael and Sandy Mullen, Joanne and Kevin Fox and Timothy and Laura Mullen. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Ashley and Michael, Tyler and Jordin, and Leah and Hayley and her grand dog Lambeau. She is also survived her sisters Peggy Saraf of Norfolk, MA and her husband Dick and Joanne Maher of Randolph, MA and her husband Victor. She was affectionately known as Patsy and Aunt Pat by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visiting hours will be Sunday April 6th from 1 to 5 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Family and friends are invited to meet at First United Methodist Church on Monday April 7th where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
