Pietro Pappagallo

Pietro Pappagallo, 76, of Silver Ridge Park Westerly in Berkeley Township passed away on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Molfetta Bari, Italy, he came to the United States in 1960 and settled in Hoboken, NJ. He lived in Carteret, NJ for 38 years before moving to the Toms River area 5 years ago. He was formerly a member of the Juventus Club in Hoboken.

Pietro was predeceased by his brother Salvatore Pappagallo. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marie Marciano Pappagallo; two daughters, Giovanna Carlino and her husband Michael of Barnegat, NJ and Suzanne Pappagallo and her companion Michael Ferrise of Brick, NJ; his grandson Michael Pietro Carlino of Barnegat; two brothers, Leonardo Pappagallo of Italy and Giuseppe Pappagallo and his wife Elisa of Jersey City, NJ; two sisters, Maria Pappagallo of Vineland, NJ and Pasqua Carobia of Italy.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery 56 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
