

Born in Jersey City, he resided in Bogota before settling in the Holiday City community of Berkeley 14 years ago.
Prior to retiring he was a banker and most recently worked at Bank of America in Hackensack. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #10899 in St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. A parishioner of St. Maximilian, he was an usher and a member of the finance committee. Bob also honorably served our country in the US Army from 1956 - 1958.
He was predeceased by his sister, Cecilia Burans; his brother, George Koch; his nephew, Francis; and his niece, Cecilia.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Audrey; his children: Audrey Koch and her partner Donna; Robert Koch, Peter Koch and his wife Keiko; eight grandchildren: Aislinn, Fiona, Megan, Gregory, Matthew, Colin, Erin and Daniel; his nephews: James and Christopher; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 1-4PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley at 10:00 AM. Entombment of cremated remains will immediately follow at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Mausoleum.
