Stella M. Latore

Stella M. Latore, 99, of Toms River passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Holiday Care Center in Berkeley Township. Born on June 8, 1911 in New York City to Charles and Anna Latore, she lived in Brooklyn until her retirement to Toms River in 1984.

Ms. Latore was a secretary for A.C. Israel Co. in New York City for more than 40 years. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Robert Marz and her sister-in-law, Lillian Latore. She is survived by her brother, Alfred Latore of Toms River, her sister, Marguerite Marz of Randolph, her niece, Susan Vitta and her husband Dr. Gary Vitta of Denville, her niece, Deborah Tusi of Toms River, her three grandnieces; Dr. Alyson Leloia and her husband Jeff Leloia, Pamela Vitta and Erika Tusi and her grandnephew, Jason Tusi.

Visitation will be on Monday, Feb 28th from 10 to 11am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twp. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
