Tonya J. Van Nosdall, age 84, of Barnegat, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the HMH Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford Township, NJ. Tonya was born on December 8, 1940 as the daughter of Nina and Rudolph Tomicich. She was a resident of North Bergen, NJ for 30 years, prior to moving to Barnegat in 2002. Wife of the late John D. Van Nosdall, Sr. and the mother of the late Dianna Van Nosdall, Tonya is survived by her children, Michele Van Nosdall-Farrell and her husband John, John D. Van Nosdall, Jr. and his wife Kelli, and Michael Van Nosdall and his wife Jayne; seven grandchildren, Michael Van Nosdall, Tayler Stendel and her husband Kai, Alexa Rodgers and her husband Brandon, Kristiana Caravella, Mackenzie Varhol and her husband Alex, John Thomas Van Nosdall, and Morgan Van Nosdall.
Visitation will be from1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will be conducted a 4:30 p.m. Entombment will be private in the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery Mausoleum in Lakewood, NJ.
