

Victoria A. Rollar, nee Bogdanski of Toms River, formerly of Bloomfield died peacefully on Wednesday January 18, 2012, in Brick, NJ. Born February 25, 1929 in Nutley, Victoria spent most of her life in Bloomfield. She worked for Bell Clair Lanes in Montclair for many years before retiring in 1980. Moving to Toms River in 1998, Victoria joined the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Silver Ridge First Aid Squad Ladies Auxiliary, enjoying her time in both. She loved spending time in Ocean Beach and traveling around the country by car, visiting almost all 50 states.
Victoria was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2010. She is survived by her son Edmund Rollar and his wife Judy and their daughters, Nina, Cristina and Gina of Elkton, MD and Newark, DE; Nancy (Rollar) Chase and her husband Jeff of Bloomfield, NJ, and Dr. Thomas F. Rollar Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. She is also survived by one of her greatest joys, her great-grandson, Jaxon.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday January 22, 2012 at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. A service will be offered at noon on Monday January 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
