Andrea Barsalona

of a wonderful husband, father, and nonno, Andrea Barsalona.

Surrounded by his loving family, he entered into peaceful rest on

Saturday, April 30th, 2011, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the

late Rosaria for 56 years, loving father of Joe (Lidia) Rosa Lecce

(Lino) and John (Carol). Cherished nonno of Danya, Andrew, Matteo,

Vincent, Virginia, Natalie, and Christian. Andrea is predeceased by

his parents, Giuseppe and Rosa Barsalona, also by his brothers

Francesco and Vito. Survived by his sisters Paola and Sara and by his

brother Gerlando in Italy. Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral

Home (6191 Yonge Street at Madawaska, South of Steeles), on Monday,

May 2nd, 2011 from 6-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will

be celebrated on Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at 10:30am at St. Paschal

Baylon RCC (92 Steeles Ave West). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Andrea was a strong, proud, hardworking man who lived his life for his

family, especially his 7 grandchildren whom he adored. As an
