Ann Szydlowski-Harany

It is with great sadness and sorrow we mourn the passing of Mary Ann Szydlowski-Harany on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Ann was born July 5, 1943 in London, England. Beloved daughter to the late Mary Ann Beatrice Black. Dear sister to Henry and his wife Jacqueline. Ann was formerly married to Gary Harany. Loving mother to sons, Steve and Lee, Mother-in-law to Lesley and Carmen. Cherished Grandma to Justin, Trina, Carleen, and Dakota. Aunt to Louise, Lauren and her husband Doug. Great-Aunt to Jack and Ethan. Ann married Joel Szydlowski in June of 1987. Everyone who knew Ann was touched by her warm and generous spirit. She so enjoyed cooking fabulous meals and hosting her family and friends. Ann was an avid lover of nature and the outdoors and had a great passion for gardening. If desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be gratefully accepted. Ann’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Jerrett Funeral Home “ North York Chapel”, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto (south of Steeles Avenue) for a Celebration of Life at 11am followed by refreshments.
