AUBREY BERTRAM CARRINGTON Born June 30, 1933, died peacefully at North York General Hospital at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, with his wife by his side. He retired in 1993 from teaching math in Toronto (Central Tech, Western Tech, Lakeview) and electronics in Hamilton (Hill Park Secondary School) and York Region (York Secondary). He was a dedicated member of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (District 15). He was the loving husband of Marilyn (née Jones) for 48 years, father of Emile (Denise Highgate) André (Krissy Mishra) and Rebecca (Gary Krempl), grandfather of Maya and Miles, Pele, Pueo and Pikoi, step-father of Osaze Robert Dolabaille and step-grandfather of Diona Dolabaille. Brother of Joyce Hill (deceased), Vilma Seegobin, Myrna Nurse, Eileen Rivers (deceased), Vera Priscilla Agard, Cynthia Trice, Hugh (Lanny) and Stanley (deceased). At Aubrey's request, he will be cremated. A Funeral Service will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street (at Madawaska Avenue, south of Steeles) on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 2 p.m.; with a visitation on Friday, January 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
