Our beautiful Basiliza Santiago Pangan has peacefully been laid to rest on Sunday, February 8th, 2026 at the astonishing age of 105. She is reunited in the kingdom of heaven with her husband and daughters. ‘Lola’ (as her grandchildren would call her) leaves an extraordinary legacy behind with 10 children, 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. All of whom loved her and cared for her more than words can express.
She was the rock of our family. Formidable. Resilient. Loving. Caring. Joyous. She filled every room with her presence and it carries on through multiple generations.
Our family would like to thank every single caregiver, visitor, PSW, doctor and nurse that sustained Basiliza for 105 beautiful years. We are grateful beyond measure for every single person that has helped her along the way. It’s a testament to her character, how many people were willing to devote their time to take care of Lola.
Basiliza was a devout sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. We are all blessed to have known Basiliza and may her soul rest peacefully with Christ.
