

Dan was the son of John Ryan and Nora Ryan (Hayes) and was born November 25, 1937. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth, his two loving sons Dan and Steve (Mary Frances), and his wonderful granddaughters Abby and Ella.
Dan graduated senior matriculation from St. Michael’s College School, Toronto, class of 1956. He then attended Assumption University (University of Windsor) majoring in mathematics, graduating with his B. Sc. In 1959.
He proceeded to be a stockbroker for thirty years. He also spent his time at his cottage in Muskoka which was mostly designed and built by himself, with help from his sons.
Dan had a life-long interest in sports, politics, travel: he visited many countries during his life. Mainly, he was interested in people. Over his life-time, he developed a large group of friends. He gave Bell Canada a real workout!

The visitation will be at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario, on Tuesday, April 29 at 4 to 8 PM.
The funeral will be at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 30. The reception will be held in the Church basement at 11:30 AM. The burial will be after the reception, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
