David G Reynolds passed peacefully after a short illness on January 8th, 2026 at North York General Hospital. He is survived by his spouse, Marlyn of 55 years, his children Jason David and Sheri Lynn (predeceased by Edward Keates), his grandchildren Casandra K. Keates and Edward J. Keates. He is also survived by sister, Barbara Purdie.
David worked 35 years with the Toronto Police Force, 33 years at 53 Division and 2 years with the Alternate Response Unit before he retired.
David will be remembered for his love of family, obsession with the game of golf and that he was the true meaning of “gentle giant”. He loved organizing and golfing his Annual Golf Trips to Myrtle Beach, SC
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at North York General Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 16th at 1 pm with refreshments following at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario.
