Eleonora Trevisan

Nora was the beloved wife of the late Luigi. Loving and devoted mother of Rudi (Cathy), Susan and Mary (Steven Urchuk). Cherished Nonna of Andre (Charlene), Natasha (Deceased), Lucas (Patricia), Michael, Daniel and Kate and Bisnonna of Simona, Dante and Sofia.

Nora was born in San Vito al Tagliamento, Pordenone, Italy. She immigrated to Canada to join her husband and together they worked hard and made many sacrifices to build a home and a family. She was a kind, selfless and strong woman. Her passions were cooking, cleaning, gardening and most of all her family.

Nora will be deeply missed by her many friends and family, including her nieces Sestilia and Nadia in Vancouver, and Paola, Eros, Gabriella and Carla in Italy. We would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to her many healthcare providers including Dr. Daniel Robson from North York General Hospital and the exceptional staff at Baycrest Palliative Care Unit for the care, compassion, support and friendship they provided to Nora and her family. We also express our deepest gratitude to our dear family friend, Walt Lakeman, for all he has done for our mother over the years.

Friends may call at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St., south of Steeles Ave.) on Friday August 11, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church (92 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill) on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road).
