Traikos, Elpida "Daisy" (nee Kuzmas)
Peacefully, on February 8. 2025 at the age of 88. Loving mother of Mary and her husband John Nolis. Predeceased by her husband Iordanis, her parents Daniel and Sava and her brother Alexandros.
She will be missed by her brother Tony and her sister, Dimitra Divitkos as well as by her extended family.
Elpida was born in Nevoliany, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1955. Here she worked in a variety of fields but her main priority was always her family.
Fiercely independent, she loved to garden and bake and took joy in sharing these treats with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett North York Chapel (6191 Yonge Street, North York) on February 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church (3125 Bayview Ave, North York) at 10:30 AM.
