Passed away July 31, 2013, leaving behind brothers Thomas (Tomeo) and Charlie (Masage), and sister Elsie (Matsumi). She was predeceased by brothers George and Victor (Akira), and sisters Yuriko and Mary.
Frances was born on March 22nd, 1923 in Cumberland, B.C. After spending some years in southern Alberta during WWII, she and her family came to Toronto in 1946. Eventually she was employed by the TTC and worked in the Accounting Department of the Grey Coach Division for over 25 years.
Frances became a devoted volunteer with the Red Cross Society. A highlight was their 18th International Conference, when she was assigned to be an attache to the Japanese delegation. Frances will be fondly remembered by her siblings and many nieces and nephews.
