Peacefully on October 12, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife, soulmate and best friend of Ron. Loving mother of Denise (Christopher) and Chris. Cherished Nana of Chloe, Jordan, Amelia and Noah. Dear sister of Linda (David), Carol (Ray), Dianne (Al), Jo-Anne (Doug), Jim (Susan). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Rae Rose. A special thank you to Dr. Shelby and the staff of the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit.
Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home “North York Chapel”, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto (south of Steeles Avenue) on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Salvation Army North York Temple, 25 Centre Ave. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Lane). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca), the Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.ca) or to Project HOPE (www.projecthope.ca).
