It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George William Rayfield affectionately known as G.W. Cherished father of son Christopher and daughter Jeannie Jenkins (Bruce) grandchildren Katie Jenkins (Ryan) and Billy Jenkins (Daniella) will be forever missed.
He died peacefully in his sleep on March 31, 2025 . His funny sense of humor and his caring ways are just a few of his admired traits. He loved his work as a Real Estate Broker and Insurance agent and also dabbled in mining. He worked full time until he was 85 years old and was a fountain of information and a great story teller.
Enjoying time at his cottage with family and friends and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays were some of his favorite pass times. The family extends its heart felt thanks to the compassionate team at Humber Meadows Long Term Care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Covenanthousetoronto.ca or the alzheimer.ca. He requested no funeral, with a private family burial.
