George Smith

He was born October 1st 1925 in Boetica Dominica, West Indies to Rosie and Samuel Smith.

On June 20, 1951 he married the love of his life, Veronica in Dominica West Indies. He is survived by his wife, 9 children, 32 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

In his early years, he travelled between England and Dominica to work. In 1979, he immigrated to Canada along with his wife and his three younger children where he lived until his death.

He retired at the age of 70 from Elmtree Nursing home. After retirement, he spent time taking care of his wife and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George enjoyed sports and loved watching the game of Cricket. His love for Cricket was transferred to Baseball with Blue Jays being his favourite team. Due to his wife’s love of WWF, George also became a WWF fan.
