Griselda, beloved wife of the late Frederick. Loving mother of Malcolm (Janet) and Rhoda (Mike).
She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Colin, Elisabeth, Emily, Alyssa and Chloe.
Griselda was also an overseas foster mother of 3 young girls in Colombia and Africa.
Griselda was predeceased by her many brothers and sisters and will be fondly remembered by their families.
As a devoted pharmacist in Malta and England prior to coming to Canada, she truly cared for the people she met through her work. Griselda became an "Avon Lady" and thrived in that role for almost 40 years. She was a long time parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Parish. An avid gardener, who also excelled in cooking, knitting and sewing, which gave her great pleasure.
Friends may call at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home, (6191 Yonge St. south of Steeles Ave.) on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, (Yonge St. south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday at 11:00 am.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.
