My deepest condolences to Hal's mother, brothers Doug & Mike, sister Bev, all their families & friends.  We know how much he has suffered in this life & is now free of pain, at peace, in the arms of his maker.

Hal was such a special person, a unique soul blessed with a very quick wit & pun to match just about anything, guaranteed to coax a smile, followed by a belly laugh from just about anyone.  He really missed his calling as a comedian.

We will always remember his generosity for all of our family.  He & Marian probably housed the entire family over a period of time, and many more than a few times.  Mom & Dad loved him.    We all felt he was more of a brother than an in-law.  He was a good man.  He was a kind & compassionate man.  He would offer you the shirt on his back if you needed it.

We will never forget you Hal.  You have a special place in all of 
our hearts for a lifetime & beyond.  Much love & affection for a deeply loved man.

Our deepest sympathy to Marian, James, Daniel, Brad and the Bache Family. Hal was one of a kind and loved by our Family. My Mom & Dad thought the world of him and so did all my Brother's & Sister's. He will be remembered always in all of our hearts. The most interesting event that I will always remember Hal, is when we had our Family Reunion in Toronto and he was the Master of Ceremony, he did an excellent job at it. He always could make you laugh because he had such a good sense of humour He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace Hal from all of our Family!!!

Hal my brother you will be missed. Even with all the pain you had you kept a smile on your face and a joke at the ready to make others feel better. 
You looked after Mom these last few years and made life for her better by being there for her.

Uncle Hal you were an amazing Uncle to me, Father to your boys and as well a great teacher to all us kids. You were always so good with us, showing us how to do things like fishing etc.
I've always looked up to you. You were one of a kind, generous, compassionate, a great sense of humour & always wanted to make everyone happy. Mom & Dad couldn't of picked a better man to be my Godfather. We all loved you very much.

So sorry for your loss. Thinking of Hal brings back many fond memories of family dinners at Christmas or New Years. Dancing to "At the Hop" in Aunt Joan's rec room and the mounds of mashed potatoes he could eat! He always had an upbeat spirit and something to say that would make you smile. May he rest in pain free peace.

We were blessed to see your humor and spirit and it enriched our lives.  I remember you smiling and helping out other people. You left a beautiful legacy of your 3 sons. Go in peace my darling. You deserve a long needed rest. Marian.
