Although you are gone, you will never be forgotten by those who were fortunate to know you. I can still see your dazzling  smile, hear your soft voice and reflect on your gentle manner.

Awwww, I'm so thankful to be given this reminder of the anniversary of Heather's passing. Heather was a kind, loving, active member of the community, and positive force. I'll be having a birthday brunch with a labyrinth walk and scavenger hunt today, Sunday, June 25th (you'll be in my prayers tomorrow too as I turn 50), and I will be sure to recognize Heather as a person who was a great support on my journey.  I will do my best to be of great service as Heather exemplified. Rest in Power, Peace, Paradise dearest Heather Anne Marie Richardson.

This beautiful butterfly fought a brave and strong battle.  The Lord stepped in and said enough is enough my child. I have greater things for you and will take into a place of rest and peace. This woman, inside and out, was a wonderful, genuine, kind and unselfish person. She had always kept her sense of humor even when she was in a storm. She had planted her footprints in our lives, which will be a reminder unto us that she was here. Heather this is only for a time, Rest In Peace. May the Lord assign his angels of peace and comfort surrounding her family and friends.

Miss Heather, as I fondly called you, I cannot believe that you have left us so soon.   During your  illness I prayed fervently, but God had other plans for you. Now you are probably taking charge of the hospitality  department in heaven.  We worked so well together on the many events we planned for the Church.  Nothing was too big for you to take on, and you always knew someone, somewhere who could help us out in a pinch.  Although you were always busy with your other commitments, you never said  "No" to a challenge.   You were well loved, as evidenced by the many friends who cheerfully turned up to help you with event preparations on short notice.

I will miss your smile and infectious laughter.  I still can hear you saying, Miss Ann, don't worry, everything is going to turn out fine.   And they did.  
Things will never be the same again now that you are gone,  and we will miss you terribly.  We thank God that we had you  in our lives .

To Shirley, Mikhala, and Eugene, please accept my deepest  condolences and those of my family.  Be  comforted in the knowledge that Heather is now free from pain and resting  at home with Jesus. Mikhala, your Mom loved you and was so very proud of your accomplishments. I pray that her love for you will guide you along life's paths.

Heather, my sweet lady, I can't believe that I wont see that beautiful smile or hear that infectious laugh anymore. The times that you dedicated to the church and events were genuine and it came from the heart. You cared about people,you gave without never asking for anything in return,you were on of a kind person.

Heather, dearest one who referred to everyone affectionately as "M'Love".  "Thank you, m'love", "Ok, m'love", "Talk to you later, m'love". 

Heather was head of Hospitality at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church and when she asked, no one ever refused to do her a favor because we all loved Heather so. We were excited to be a part of her planning because we looked forward to the grand end-result: perfection down to the smallest of details. Heather knew exactly who to contact for absolutely every aspect of preparation for our events and what a collaboration every time! 

Heather was always upbeat, optimistic, and positive. I never knew her to complain about anything. She had poise, she was always impeccably dressed, she had exquisite tastes, and was professional in her conduct. 

I will always remember the love Heather displayed and had for her precious daughter Mikhala – the apple of her eye. To see their relationship grow and evolve over the years was inspiring. The incredible dynamics of her relationship with her Mom Shirley: when you see one, you see the other. Three generations of lovely ladies who were so in sync like three peas in a pod.

I am struggling every day with this reality, I do not want to believe it because I just cannot believe it. What do we do now without Heather? This was not what I imagined, I miss her.

My heartfelt and sincerest sympathies to you Mikhala, Shirley & Eugene. I won’t pretend to imagine the heartache that you and your family are feeling right now but take comfort in knowing that you are in my thoughts and prayers always.

We didn’t get to say goodbye, that dreadful day we got that call... we couldn’t believe that you were gone, but God saw you suffering and he couldn’t take it anymore so he decided to take you home, we will continue to live with the sweet memories of you especially that sweet smile that no one can replace. I met Heather when both of our daughters were in Kindergarten at Glen Shields Public School. My fondest recollections of her would be her contagious chuckle, her beautiful hairstyles and her caring attitude towards people. She assisted a great deal with events within the community, particularly at Glen Shields, even after her daughter graduated. I have deep admiration for the way she advocated for her daughter's well-being. She raised Mikhala to be a very strong young woman. I pray that this strength will help Mikhala heal during this difficult time. Our prayers are with you and your family. 

Hi my name is Vaughn Parsons l am the youth worker at the dufferin Clark community center. I met Heather when she was part of the taka organisation she was always very friendly and inviting always asking how is the program going and if there is anything she can do let her know  very community oriented I am going to miss that big bright smile my condolences to mikhala and family rest in peace Heather 

For the last 19 years I have known this woman with a heart that was like no other.  Irrespective of what came her way she just ontinued to give.
Wether it was school council.. community organizing... sports.. .she displayed an energy to share and love that went beyond the normal.  As a community we benefitted as a community we mourn yet celebrate a life lived for others.
