3 years since you rest in peace ,3 years closer to Jesus’s coming means 3 years closer to seeing and hugging you once again! Not a day passed by without your memories in my thoughts. The lessons in life I learned from you are now my guide in this world. Inay, you are so dearly missed by all of us. We love you!!!❤️❤️❤️

Whenever we met her at a family gathering, Marion and I would go to her to receive her blessing and she always had some kind words to say to us. We always appreciated that and we will miss her.

Inang life ends but her sweet memories will linger on forever .

We also want to recognize Inay’s love and dedication to her family and, most significantly, to her devotion to the Adventist Christian living. Her legacy will shine forever, not only to her family, extended family but also to the church family. She will always be remembered as one of our pillars of strength, endurance, and great faithfulness to our Almighty God.

I will never forget her smile every time she greeted me at church. I’ve had days where I didn’t feel like going to church. Seeing her made me feel relieved and glad that I did go. Thank God for her beautiful smile, her firm handshake and a  “happy sabbath” that always reminded me: what an awesome God we serve. I saw in her a wonderful example of a life lived in the Lord. 

Rest In Peace nanay, see you in the resurrection morning.

Over 10 years ago, at The First Filipino-Canadian SDA Church, we had a celebration of life of Mr. Alejandro Salandanan Sr.  And a part of the celebration of life food is served by the members of the church.  After the Celebration of his life and meal,  I met the family.  Inay, thanked me for the food solicited from the members.  I reassured Inay that the members will be thanked for. 
After that day, Inay and I developed our bonding and she told me that I was going to be one of her children.  I thanked her for taking me in in her fold.  Since then, many times I had visited Inay and Rick in their home with Blessie and her family. 
Years went by and I felt so relaxed with Inay.  My life used to be fast and busy.  When I wanted to slow down, I go to Inay.  She knew when something is bothering me.  She never pushed me to tell her what was wrong until I understood what she was trying to tell me to make me realize that worrying is not healthy at all. Then we would talk about happy times, we would be laughing like mother and daughter. 
Having a Christian “Inay” is a blessing.  Inay had her own way of leading her children into her fold and into God’s fold also with her grandchildren and great-grand children.
One more thing, why I even got close to Inay, she taught me how to forgive and forget.  She helped me to realize that the word HATE will hinder me from going to heaven.  That kept me thinking about the 4 letters HATE to keep me here on earth while my Inay and my siblings will all go to heaven.
I thank God that He gave me my siblings and a Christian mother.  God will help me to be faithful as Inay has been.
Inay, I know you are at peace and resting in Jesus.  I will obey God as you have taught me how.
Inay, I will cherish you in my heart forever

 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Nanay Enang my favorite auntie when i was young she always bring special Fries, during my highschool days I leave in nanay enang's house she always prepare my lunch and She teaches me to cook and how to clean the fish. I wil never forget you nanay enang  and your advices. Until we meet in heaven i love you lola enang.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Nanay Enang. 
  I've known her when  I was assigned in  Bataan District as an associate pastor with Pastor Julio Sanidad my senior Pastor. Nanay as I call her is an intelligent woman. She is also loving and caring person. She always invite us to eat in their house. What I like most is her faithfulness to God. God has given her many years of bonus. She lived life to the fullest. Sleep tight Nanay Enang! See you in the blessed morning! 

The last time lola enang and I met, it was never going to forget in my mind. I still remember when we stayed in Liyang, I always have a good bow because at breakfast even when my plate is full Lola enang always adds more food to my plate.Lola enang was a great comforter when I learned of my grandmother's condition she lightened my heartSo I'm really grateful to lola enang for the memories and lessons you shared to me. Lola enang is a true model because she is kind, caring and most of all close to God. Thank you for everything you have shared with me. I'm not going to get it out of my mind I will miss you lola enang

Love knows no boundaries. Nanay Enang is no longer physically with us but her spirit is always around us. You're always here in our heart. The greatest lessons we've learned to you gave us strength and great faithful to God. Thank you very much to all the love, advice, and caring to us even if you're far from us. I also thankful to Nanay Enang because even if she was in Canada she didn't forget us especially Lexter. Thank you very much. I know that she was well loved and respected. He had a great character and a big heart. You will always be remembered. You will stay alive in our hearts Nanay Enang. We love you!!

I remember Nanay Salandanan as a church member. She never missed church and I saw here together with Mrs. Del Mundo when they were in church. I think they were BFF's.  Whenever I asked how she was doing, she always answered positively telling me that it was God's blessing that she has continued to stay strong and healthy and that she was happy to see me with my grandkids. She 
always said that it was important for the family to be together and that the kids are a very important part of their nurture and growing up.
She loves potluck events especially in the church because she feels that her appetite is increased with friends and family around.

Our lovely Lola Enang will never be forgotten for she is worth remembering.
Our memories with Lola Enang  stayed in our hearts. And Her 96 years of life is such a blessing for us... 96 years of dedication to the Lord.  Her words of wisdom, her kind soul and her generous heart makes her the best Lola in the world. We love you Lola Enang!!!

   Lola Enang thank you for your kind words and advises to  us!
  You always  reminds us to be faithful till Jesus comes... you always gives us inspiring words coming from the Biible. 
    You're a  loving lola, a generous person.. a beautiful person inside and out! I remember yung palagi nyo sinasabi sa amin mag asawa' 'Ang bahay at kayamanan galing sa magulang pero ang mabait na asawa galing sa Panginoon ' . You never stop telling us  that 'God is good all the time' 'God will provide' and 'God is Love'. And you always reminds us to keep the promise of  God.
     For now you are resting in the arms of God and soon we will  see each other again when Jesus comes! No more tears and no more pains. 
      Lola Enang you will always be remembered and We love you! We cherish all the memories we have!
  


She is a sweet lola  to all Apos,i remembered lola we olweiz prepared food and after that we so much  kwentuhan after we finish eating,and i remember u olweiz be  saying u go to church and   just listen the word of god,u have a remembrace to me a KUMOT u give to me...i olweiz used that....we love u lola enang and u are olweiz be here in our heart and thank u for all the time my mother passed away  u are. Olweiz be there..and we missed the hug and kiss .....you are also very strong  person that i can see lola.,,, and my kids also olweiz remember u give food  u are caring lola.Ashley remembered that and remember the pulong Ashley knows the lesson of god.we thank you lola for that..i love you lola

Lola enang is very caring and loving Lola to all apos,i remember if we see u have a power hug and kiss,we a good heart and u have sweet sister of Lola maring u like the super sister,,and good chef also Lola enang ( champorado,enselada,)
I remember you given me a Bible and I keep it and u say u read if u are the time u need to talk u read because all of saying is the word of God 
And I wanna thank you for the love and care to all of ask specially when my mother died u are always saying it's okey everything will be alright and last January we call in messenger and say happy new year and how are you.its the last Lola enang we talk,and I also remember that I massage the foot because u said pain,and u tell me please take of my hands because MAGALING,i appreciate that Lola enang.its my first and last Lola enang...we love you Lola enang and I cannot say goodbye to you Lola enang

Lola Enang was not only known for her special champorado but most specifically for her wisdom and faithfulness to the Lord. I was one of those children whom she tell lessons through bible verses. 
She discusses the words of God with hearts in her eyes. She is very generous, and friendly. She is one of the best lola in the world. She will always remind you to put God in the center of everything.... and she may not be here physically but she always got a place in our hearts. She will never be forgotten.

We love you Lola enang! Rest now in the arms of our Lord. See you again when our Lord returns.. 



What I can't forget with Inay was her love of flowers.  Not so choosy, be it big or small. She appreciate it the most.

We express our sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family, especially to the children and grandchildren of Ate Inang. We are saddened of her passing away but being comforted knowing that we will see her again on that resurrection morning when Jesus comes to take His children home, the heavenly home, where there will be no more death, no pain, no sorrow nor sadness.

the last time I saw Lola Enang was last dec.25,2015....and it's been so long...i still recalled when we met that day, she hug and kiss me a lot...then she said, you're grown up already with a big smile in her face... i was so amazed because she is alive and kicking  at her age...and still she talks a lot of things. thanks to her hearing aid because she hears me a lot..one thing I won't forget about her aside from her kindness and being lovable is she keeps telling me that no matter what happen always put God first into our life...she will read you a bible verse which will inspire you and uplift your spiritual life that's the way she is to be..we're so blessed to have her...you are not forgotten Lola Enang...you are worth remembering...we love you so much...

For those who don’t know, my first district in my ministry was in Bataan. I enjoyed  my ministry there.  Every time I visited  Abucay I always went to the Salandanans and I will never forget the love, hospitality and cheerfulness of Inay and the family and  also they were the active leaders of their church .
I was young then and Inay made me feel as one of her sons specially since  Levi was my close friend when we were in college.  Every time  we went to Toronto  and visited the Salandanans we were always told to eat there by Inay and family. so we always enjoyed the the delicious food and sweet fellowship  and often times may baon pa. We will surely miss Inay , her sweet smile and words of godly encouragement but praise God for if we remain faithful we will be together again never more to part when Jesus comes. Dear children of Itay and Inay let’s be encouraged by the beautiful thought that she is just resting with full assurance that when Jesus comes she and our other loved ones will wake up and we will join them as we travel to our eternal home with Jesus our dearest friend 

The last time that we were together will forever stay in my mind. All the verses in the bible that we recited together, all the prayers that you offered,all the songs that we sang together while holding hand in hand, all the instructions you left for me to share,your last wishes for the family and when you saw my tears flowing, you asked me not to cry because you are at peace with God. You said,” Stop crying,be strong in the Lord,be strong in your faith and if I don’t see you again here on earth,I will look for you,for all of you in heaven on that great reunion day”.Thank you for your blessing me but most of all thank you for your love for my family and for showing us how to trust God. Sleep well Inay until Jesus comes! We love you and you will not be forgotten . You will always be in our hearts.

I married Mrs Salandanan's grand daughter, Mirhben May Salandanan Roble /Bowen and met my grandma inlaw first time in 2012 there in Canada.  I am very thankful to have spent time talking to her, where she would speak words of wisdom, adopting and accepting me into the family clan.  Grandma Salandanan would always tell me "You can inhereit houses and riches from your parents, but a good health comes from the Lord."    Thankyou grandma Hilaria and family for all the kindness, and may we all meet again when Jesus returns.
