Jean passed peacefully after a battle with chronic heart failure on November 6th in her home at Amica, Pickering Ontario.
Jean is survived by her son Bob (Bev), granddaughter Karli (Ian) and great grandkids Willow & Walker, her granddaughter Jackie (Rob) and great grandkids Harvey & Axel, her grandsons Ryan, Mason, Dillon & Theo.
Survived by her son Doug (Shawn), granddaughter Samantha (fiancé Mitch) and granddaughter Gracie.
Survived by her daughter Karen (Murray), grandson Derek (Tammy) and great grandsons Corey (Alessia), Matt (Sabrina), Riely and granddaughter Keira and grandson Scott (Amber) and great granddaughters Bridget & Sofie.
Jean was going to be survived by her brother John, but he joined her 13 hours later Nov 7th, 2025. She is survived by her sister in-law Barb and their kids Sharon, Debbie, Donna & Mark and their families.
Jean has gone to rest with her parents Harley and Greeta Wilson as well as many friends she has had the pleasure of knowing throughout her life.
Jean will be remembered as a loving mother whose family meant everything to her and supported each of her kids throughout many stages of their lives. She was a passionate elementary school teacher, an avid cottager & traveler, member of many clubs including Toronto Horticulture Society, Edith Vale & Amica Bridge Club and friends book club. Jean was a devoted friend and loved her time spent with each of them throughout her lifetime.
Words can’t express enough the family’s deep thanks and appreciation to the staff at Amica Pickering for their compassionate and personal care of Jean over the last few years.
Visitation will be held Tuesday November 18th at 10am at Kane-Jarrett Funeral Home 6191 Yonge Street, North York M2M 4k4
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday November 18th (location same as above) at 11am and will also be live streamed.
Reception will follow the ceremony at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home
