Dear family,

Ms LaCavera was my TA at Mary Ward. She was always such a bright light to everyone, especially me, all through highschool. She will never be forgotten. My condolences.

As a fellow coffee consumer, your mother was a valued and treasured member of our Mary Ward Breakfast Club. Every Thursday morning we shared recipes, news of the week, family events, beauty secrets, shopping tips, relationship advice, and fashion (or lack thereof).  We started with muffins & coffee (milk, no sugar allowed!) and it grew to become a feast of eggs, bacon, English muffins, yogurt, fruit, and home-made goodies…thanks to Darlene! We scrutinized new members and put them through a rigorous application process – only the survivors were allowed. We laughed, cried, consoled, and rejoiced in each other's successes.  We will forever hold those memories in our hearts … as we will our dear friend Lee.  With Love, The Breakfast Club xoxo

Dear Katherine Oliver and Matthew, our deepest condolences to the three of you for the loss of your mother Lilliana. Your grandparents and my parents have been close friends for over sixty years and I have fond memories of your mother when we used to get together for picnics and cottaging. Ms. La Cavera was the best kind of person. She was my TA for 5 years at Mary Ward high school and I loved her so dearly. She touched my heart so profoundly and I have often thought of her since graduation. I was lucky to have kept in touch with her. She is very  missed in my heart. Katherine, Matthew and Oliver, you are in my prayers. You're mom was truly special. My sincere condolences to you.

I was absolutely shocked and very sad to see a picture of a beautiful girl today in the newspaper, that I knew for two short years (Gr. 9&10) while we attended Loretto Abbey together.  I haven't seen Liliana since that time, but as soon as I saw her picture today, I was heartbroken to realize that her life was cut so short.  Liliana looks the same in her picture as when we were teenagers in high school together...many years ago.  She was such a sweet, shy girl and someone I always remembered for her warmth and kindness.  My condolences to all of you at what must be an unbelievably difficult time.
