Mary Gerry "Gerry" Bryan

August 23, 1929 – October 3rd, 2011

With great sadness we announce the passing of Gerry Bryan, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Donovan, sister of JoAnn and the late Frank Crittenden of Agincourt. Gerry passed away peacefully with her family at her side at York Central Hospital on October 3rd. She was the dear mother of Paul and Deb of Whitby, Sandy and Dave Bell of Markham, Ken and Rosa of Kawartha Lakes, Mike and Rose of Bancroft, Barb of Uxbridge and Fred and Denise of Uxbridge. Mother in law to Peter Polson, and pre-deceased by her daughter Debbie Polson of Ajax. She was Grandmother to Jennifer, Geoffrey, Carolyn, Andrew, Bradley, Andrea, Pamela, Trevor, Jillian, Shawn Christopher, Melissa, Samantha and Great Grandmother to Tyler, Paige, Braydon, Landon and Connor. She was a loving Aunt Gerd to Donna, Carol, Kathryn, Mark and Stephen.

Gerry spent the best part of her life devoted to the raising her seven children as a single Mom, yet still had time to have an enjoyable and rewarding career. Some of the best memories were when she was the “information lady“ at the purple kiosk in the Fairview Mall. The joy and laughter that she exuded throughout her life will be remembered by the memories and laughter that we will carry with us throughout the rest of our days.

Visitation will be at Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York ( 2 lights south of Steeles) on Thursday October 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue at 1:30 PM Friday October 7th.. Internment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
