Michael Oswald Man

Michael Oswald Man (Mr. "Fantastic"), born on March 5, 1931, passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 94. Michael was born in Georgetown, Guyana, and resided in Barbados for 12 years before moving to Toronto, Canada. It is a blessing to know that Michael is no longer suffering and is now in glory with his Saviour Jesus Christ.

Beloved husband of the love of his life, the late Patricia. Extraordinary and loving father of Tony (Dianne), Trevor (deceased) his daughter-in-law Colleen, and Timothy (Christine.)

Michael will always be cherished by his 9 grandchildren Michael (Debbie), Amy (George), Nicholas (Paula), Joe (Samantha), Angelina, George, Jason, Erin and Nicole (Vlad).

Michael will also be fondly remembered by his 14 great grandchildren Jordan, Connor, Brooklyn, Brianna, BellaRae, Abby, Payton, Hailey, Izzy, Ryan, Kade, Alexander, Levi and Ava.

He is survived by his younger brother David (Janet).

Heartfelt thanks from Michael and his family are extended to his compassionate caregiver, Marites.

Visitation will be held at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St. Toronto, south of Steeles Ave.) on Thursday January 22, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Michael's Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Friday January 23, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Interment to follow at York Cemetery.
