He reunites with his life-long love of 73 years, Bruna with whom he enjoyed a long, successful life built on a foundation of hard work, trust, support and let’s not forget ‘good cooking’. Mino leaves behind his son, Sandro (Mafalda), and daughter Daniela, who were his greatest joy and the pride of his life. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Ryan (Belinda), Andrea (Anya), and great grandson, Aydan.
Mino was a force of nature; determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. To Mino, family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was proud of Sandro and Daniela, and with Bruna always tried his best to support them.
Mino was passionate of his profession as a hairstylist and all his hobbies. His birds, dogs, garden, hunting, sports (hockey and soccer) and his truck. He could often be found in the garage tinkering away the day.
Mino lived a life filled with enduring friendships and was respected by all. He lived a full, long life and was a constant example of being an honest, loving, caring, considerate, and hardworking individual.
The family would like to thank the compassionate, dedicated team of nurses, doctors, and palliative care specialists at North York General Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11 from 9:00 am-11:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 pm in the funeral home chapel at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home at 6191 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario, M2M 4K4.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mino’s name can be made to Yorkminster Park Meals on Wheels or North York General Hospital Foundation.
