My whole life Auntie Myrtle was there for me as a friend & mentor, but also as a third loving parent.  Yes, when my parents got stuck it would be Auntie Myrtle to the rescue like the time my parents thought I was getting too creative with my printing and called on Auntie Myrtle to set things right.  The mini-lecture hinged on the fact that I should be interested in always forming my letters in a way that anyone & everyone could easily read what I had to say.  I have every card she ever gave me, & to her credit there is not one that cannot easily be read  Auntie Myrtle lived her walk, and this is how she was in all areas of her life; when she spoke, people listened.
To those who knew her as Maize/Aunt Maize,' I am so sorry for your loss, everything seemed to happen rather quickly  live life as she did, remember the things she shared with you, and know you will see her again.
Love you & miss you Auntie Myrtle, you will not be forgotten.

My aunt was a very loving person. Always had a word of encouragement and always positive. I love the fact that no matter how old I've gotten she would still send something for me, and then eventually my son whom she loved as well. Auntie Mazie I love you, heart broken that you're no longer physically with us, but your spirit will remain here with us and I will carry it me through life.

To my big sister Mazie. You will forever be in our hearts. I miss you so much love you always your little sister Nadine.

Myrtle will be deeply missed.  Her kind smile, positive attitude and dedication will be remembered.

It is with great sadness that I heard of your illness and was in total shock to hear of your passing.  You have been a dear friend for over 25 years.  Sally and I met you at school and we worked hard and helped each other through assignments and exams.  Our friendships grew as we moved on to have spouses, and families.  You were a confidante through those trying teenage years and you prayed with me through many of my family trials.  You always had the right scripture reading or psalm to inspire and anchor me.  You sang happy birthdays to me, year after year which was so endearing.  Your life was given to the Lord and today, the heavens opened up to welcome you home.  May you rest in the peace of knowing that you touched our lives deeply and that you will be forever remembered as a good and faithful servant and an Ambassador for Jesus.  God Bless you Myrtle.

It a great pleasure to know and work with Myrtle Whyte for 22 years. She was a kind hearted lady with a friendly smile. She will be missed a lot by her friends at CRA. I will cherish her friendship and kind words. May God bless her with love and peace she always radiated around her.

I had the privilegue of having Myrtle as a friend for over twenty five years. I met her soon after my arrival in Canada and she made the transition so much easier, with a word of encouragement in the difficult times, with a selfless act to show me her kind heart and with an easy smile to share the good times.
She was a fantastic teacher to hundreds of auditors being their mentor not only on technical issues but showing them moral values and ethical behavior and the office was the better for it.
She will be missed , the world has lost a great lady who enriched the lifes she touched and we are sadden by her passing but she has gone to her just reward in heaven. Rest in peace my sweet friend God is with you.

I was blessed to have known Myrtle for quarter century.  I will miss her friendship and uplifting spirit but I will keep memory of my kind, dear friend and remain grateful for having been blessed with her in my life.

Paul and I have many good memories of Myrtle. She taught our daughters in Sunday School.  She attended Paul's Bible study. We were together at a lot of functions. She was a wonderful. kind & loving Christian lady who we admired.

I had the pleasure of working with Myrtle who was part of our team for about 10 years, at CRA. She was always a kind, considerate person and a good friend to all.
Her goodness was like an aura that enriched the lives of all those who called her a friend or  colleague.  I was very sorry to hear of her untimely passing.  I would like to express my condolences to her family, close friends and  fellow colleagues.

Myrtle always put her faith in the Lord and always radiated hope for a better world.
As mentioned in another post she leaves behind something that had to be earned, that is a good name. Her good name will live on forever.   I know she is now resting in peace, as  whenever we discussed scripture as she liked to do with me from time to time, the  23rd Psalm was always one of her favourites and I know she is now lying down in green pastures beside still waters and dwelling in the house of the Lord forever.

Myrtle was my Sunday school teacher at Banfield Memorial Church.  She was a wonderful woman.  May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

I was fortunate to work with Myrtle many years ago in Toronto. She was always eager to help others and had a  positive attitude each day. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Myrtle will be missed greatly.  She has been such a wonderful and challenging spiritual mentor to me for more than 20 years, as well as a dear friend and faithful supporter through all the years I've served overseas, including coming to visit me in Egypt.  I'm so grateful to the Lord for all the years He has given me to share life with Myrtle.  She's now been promoted to the glory that she has spent her life preparing for - and will be with Jesus for all eternity.  There's no greater reward than this.  Well done, good and faithful servant.  Chris and I love you and miss you so much.  We can just imagine Myrtle sending us all this message now, telling us first hand ... that she's praying for us to be rooted and established in Jesus and to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.  She would be continuing to encourage us to follow the Lord and live a life worthy of the calling, knowing that when we live for the Lord our work is not in vain. Myrtle always had a word of encouragement to offer. When she did want to raise a question of concern, she always made it a point to do it in private, protecting the dignity of others. I appreciated very much Myrtle's love and care for my daughter Kayla who regularly attended her Sunday School class at Wellspring Worship Centre.  Myrtle had a way of connecting with and teaching preteens that was unique.  Kayla would leave her class not only with better understanding of God's love for her - but with some very healthy treats as well!!  Myrtle always remembered a birthday with a thoughtful card.  She will be missed by many - but even more so by the many young lives she taught over a long career as their teacher.   Angela Covert

Myrtle was a woman of high ethical standards. She was kind and considerate. We will miss her.

Myrtle lived her life with honour, integrity and dignity and she brought those character traits to work with her every day.  Those of us who could call her our friend are better for having known her and blessed to have had her in our lives.  There is a saying that when you leave this earth you leave only your good name behind.  Myrtle leaves a strikingly good name behind her.  Never did an unkind word leave her mouth.  She was loved and respected by all and is already missed very much.  Myrtle's passing leaves a gaping hole in my soul that no one else can fill.

Myrtle was one of kind and will be missed. God called her home too early.

She was such a fine young lady, always helpful to others, kind hearted, compassionate and honest. As I was on the hiring board for GST auditors , we hired three qualified candidates with last names - Brown(Debora), Black(Gordon) and Whyte (Myrtle). Myrtle was very close to me. Myrtle Whyte was a woman, who was the epitome of virtue, selflessness, compassion, and the demonstrated paramount professionalism in her vocation.

I was so, so sorry to hear of the passing of this dear lady of God.  She was such an amazing leader to the teens for years in the Sunday School ministry of Banfield/Wellspring.  I am unable to be come to any visitation/service but will be thinking of her extended family as they miss her!  Our loss is heavens gain.

I have not enough words in my vocabulary to describe fully what a fine person Myrtle was. She will be missed by her friends family and collegues
