To Marica and the family,

It is so hard to believe that Omari is gone, but I take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. I still can not believe he is gone. It feels like just yesterday that I first met him and Marica. The last time I saw him was when they came to drop off the TV for us, and it was the first time he met my husband. He was so kind, humble, and genuine, and that is exactly how I will always remember him.
Thank you, Omari for your kindness and the wonderful memories. You touched the lives of those around you and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
May God grant you eternal peace and give strength and comfort to Marica and the entire family during this difficult time.

To my dear brother-in-law, Omari Dos Santos,

It is still hard to believe that you are gone. There are no words strong enough to describe the pain of losing someone who brought so much life, love, laughter, and warmth into our family.

I still remember the day you entered our lives. I was only 16 years old then, and now, at almost 31, I realize just how many beautiful memories you gave us throughout all those years. From the very beginning, you had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved. There was never a dull moment when you were around. Your smile, your humor, your creativity, and your kindness filled every room.

One memory I will always hold close to my heart is seeing you and Marcia sitting together at the dining room table , working on new designs and ideas for your work. You would always ask me, “hey Cisa, what do you think?” Those small moments meant so much because they showed how passionate, hardworking, and humble you were. You valued the people around you and made everyone feel included.

I will also never forget the love you showed my son, Zaiin. When he was born, you did everything possible to get him a little bear. You gave him a Mickey Mouse teddy bear that, to this very day, remains his favorite toy. He treasures it so much that not even his little sister is allowed to play with it. That bear is more than a toy now — it is a piece of you, a reminder of your love and generosity.

Omari, thank you for the joy you brought into our lives. Thank you for loving our family the way you did. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the conversations, and the kindness you gave so freely. You will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and forever loved.

To Zahvia and Family,

My deepest condolences for this profound loss. I remember your dad picking you up from school every day—greeting you with the biggest smile. The bond and love between you was so obvious in even those small moments. Earlier this month I was in your class and we read "The Invisible String". That invisible string exisits between you and your dad, Zahvia,  for always. I pray that God surrounds all of you with his love and guides you through this most difficult time. Lean on to eachother, your closest loved ones, and to your faith.

On September of 2006, I entered into the Humber Industrial Design program not knowing anyone in my class and still shy, yet Omari and Sam became my friends.  We three spent time together in class away from class.  We worked the bus shelter project together.  I will always Omari's big bright smile and his willingness to always help me in class when he could.  The heaven is a little brighter with a new Angel!  See you later, my friend!
