Pablo passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 9th after a gradual decline in health. During the last days of his life, he was continuously surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers. Pablo was born in Pasuquin, Philippines, but has been a Torontonian since 1994.
Pablo, who was always a farmer at heart, loved the feel and beauty of the Philippines and especially growing beautiful crops. Pablo remained connected to his homeland and its most prized hobby rice farming even after moving to Canada.
Pablo is survived by his wife Nieves Calida and by the following five children (and spouses): Nida (Frank), Estela (Chris), Pablo (Mercy) and Dominga (Danny) and Berto and nine grandchildren as follows: Brandon, Dylon, Darel, Dayna, Esther, Heidi, Jesus, Kevin and Luigi; and two great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Eva Agtina.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 1 P.M. Location: Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K4.
Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Duffin Meadows Cemetery at 2505 Brock Road, Pickering On, L1V 2P3
