Patrick Joseph Darmody

Much loved husband of Susan Orr and loving father of the late Shannon Orr. Dear brother to Mary, Michael, Joseph (pre-deceased), Anne (Ed), Dianne (Steve), Theresa, Susan (Tim), Catherine (Denis, deceased) and John (Carrie), and uncle (and great-uncle!) to dozens of nieces, nephews, and grandnieces/nephews. Patrick's sharp wit, humour, creativity and insatiable curiosity will be sorely missed by all.

Predeceased by parents Michael and Helen Darmody.

Born in Toronto, Pat was a gifted talent (the original "MacGyver") who had a passion for building many e-bikes and motorcycles. He could build a car, fix a computer and even figure out a forgotten combination on a lock. Generous with his time, he could patiently explain complex technologies and was delighted to share "a quick beer and a sandwich" with friends and family alike. An avid musician, Pat will be sadly missed by his friends and relatives as he moves on to the "Great Gig in the Sky".

Visitation will take place Friday, March 10, 2023 between 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Kane-Jerrett Funeral home, located at 6191 Yonge Street, North York.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
