It’s with great regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Joseph Cameron known to his loved ones as Rick . Rick passed away peacefully the morning of December 29, 2024 .

Beloved husband of Marie Cameron, loving father of Troy ( Wendy) , Jade ( Greg) and Robin . Rick and Marie were gifted 9 grandchildren ,Troy , Desiree , Lucas , Ethan, Jacob , Madilyn , Jacklyn, Charley and Reya. As well as 3 great grand babies, Destry, Clair and Ryan.

Rick is fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters , in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Rick was a very devoted family man and friend to those he loved.

He was a hard worker , and a good provider. Rick had a huge heart and always called a spade, a spade , and stood up for what was right being a voice for the little guy.

He had a huge heart and an even BIGGER Laugh. He was charming , and although it got him into trouble, it could also disarm even the toughest cookies.

Rick enjoyed the simple things in life, family, great food , a good game of cards, watching the game with the boys, an afternoon summer nap in the backyard, a few cold beers after work , at a bonfire or when puttering in his garden.

To sum up Rick‘s life, he lived, he loved, and he laughed. He brought colour to this world just being a part of it, he will be remembered fondly through many crazy stories ( you just can’t make this stuff !), and he will be missed greatly by those that had the pleasure of knowing him!
