Sybil Hope Melbourne

It is with great sadness that we announce Sybil’s peaceful passing on Saturday February 4, 2017 at the age of 72. Sybil was born on May 23, 1944 in Croft’s Hill, Clarendon, Jamaica to Joslyn and Letitia Marr. She will be deeply mourned and sorely missed by her husband, Byron; her two sons Jason and Johl; their wives, Laurie and Renee; and her three grandchildren, Marley, Clayton and Kaya. She is survived by seven of her sibilings: Ewart Marr; Patricia Clarke; Lennox Marr; Jacinth Marr; Heman Marr, Maxine Wilson and Melba Walker as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 6191 Yonge Street (south of Steeles Ave.) on Monday February 13, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Apple Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church, 700 Apple Creek Blvd., Markham, ON, L3R7X9. Interment Elgin Mills Cemetery(1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, Ontario).
