She was the beloved wife for over fifty years of the late Nikola Penkarski and the dear mother of Mary (Thierry) and Joseph (Annie). She was greatly loved by her granddaughters Elena (Jonathan), Ashley (Jeff), Maïda (Félix), Devynn (Jeremy), and Jaimee, and her great grandsons Theodore, Louis, and her great granddaughter Blair.

Visitation will take place at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street in Toronto, on Friday March 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Teresa's casket will be closed from 4 to 6 pm and open from 6 to 8 pm. Children are most welcome to attend her services.
A Funeral Service will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street in Toronto, on Saturday March 14, 2026, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at York Cemetery.
