Vincenza Romano

She is survived by her loving children Carmela (Joe), Vince (Anna) and Fabio(Camilla), and her grandchildren Jordan, Anthony, Michael, Vanessa (Ryan), Conor, Orla and Ciara.

Vincenza rejoins in eternal life her loving husband of 67 years Mario, her parents Luigi and Florinda, her dear siblings, and many close friends.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who was devoted to family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. In her healthy days, she enjoyed sewing, making special meals for grandchildren and socializing with extended family and friends. Although Vincenza lived in Canada for many years, she never lost her love of Italy and in particular her home town of Montella. Vincenza was a great storyteller and we will always remember the many tales she shared with us of her days growing up in Italy and the events that were the highlights of her life.

A visitation for Vincenza will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, North York. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Edward the Confessor, 75 Churchill Ave, North York. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at Forest Lawn Mausoleum, 4570 Yonge St, North York, ON M2N 5L6.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Vincenza’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
