William Howard Lurie

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of William (Bill) Lurie. Son to the late Henry and Rose and brother to the late Linda. He is survived by his beloved wife Elena (Bubs), loving father to Shawna, Rachel (Tuff), Sarah (Mar), Matt and doggie Zadie to Baylee and Henry.

Bill will be missed by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. His laugh that could fill a room, quirky nicknames for people/things, obsession of cookies, obscure knowledge for crosswords/trivial pursuit, and many more unique things about him will be greatly missed.

We ask that a donation of a hug and kiss to those closest to you be paid in memory because you should never underestimate the power of a hug and a kiss until the ability to give it to a loved one is taken away from you.

Cremation will be taking place. A closed visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M 4K4, 416-223-6050, on Tuesday, March 15 2022, from 10:00am-11:00am with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am.
