Yousif Bishara Gafour

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years Farha, his children Aminne, Eiman (Eric), and Bishara, and his grandchildren Alan, Marcus, and Naomi. He will be warmly remembered by his siblings Hagain and Saeed, along with many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

Yousif was a long time employee of Exxon, spending his entire career with the company. He was also a devoted parishioner at Church of the Incarnation in North York, volunteering with the church for many events.

He was an avid walker, his walks through his neighborhood allowed him to make may friends and connect with others. Yousif loved spending his family time travelling to see them and visiting historical places. He was a deeply devoted husband and family man.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 11, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Service will be the following day, Monday August 12 at Church of the Incarnation, 15 Clairtrell Road in North York at 11 am. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be considered in Yousif’s memory to the Church of the Incarnation.
