Joe Rodrigues

Mr. Rodrigues is survived by: son José João Rodrigues of Portugal; son Philip Rodrigues (Robin) of Ripon; son Jesse Rodrigues of Modesto; daughter Gilda Garcia (Tony) of Patterson; brother Manuel Homen of Faial, Açores; sister Margarida Silveira of San Leandro; sister Palmira Dias of Faial, Açores; sister Leopoldina Teixeira of Santa Maria, California; sister Estela Rodrigues of Oakdale; and sister Celestina Rodrigues of Modesto. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews to honor his memory.

Joe was preceded in death by: his wife Aldina Rodrigues in 2001; son Joseph Anthony Rodrigues; sister Maria Souto; brothers Antonio Rodrigues and Manuel Rodrigues; and his parents Antonio Rodrigues Homen Jr. and Leuvegilda Garcia.

He was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Modesto, California and served at the president of Oakdale F.E.S.

A visitation for Mr. Joe Rodrigues will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. During the visitation, there will be a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will occur at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church: 505 W. Granger Avenue, Modesto, California. He will be laid to rest following the service at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery: 1141 Scenic Drive, Modesto, California.
