Funeral services for Arturo Michael Luna-Palacios, 38, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Nahas officiating. Burial is in Cathedral In The Pines Cemetery.

Arturo passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015, in Tyler.

He was born on August 26, 1977 in Tyler to Arturo Luna Palacios and Diana Palacios.

Arturo was a truck driver by trade and loved to ride motorcycles with his friends. He loved fishing with his kids, nieces and nephews. Arturo enjoyed cooking; he was a chef at heart who was loved by many people and a protector of his loved ones. He always wanted to be surrounded by them. He was the life of the party, he had a big heart for everyone and everything and always wanted to do for people.

Arturo is survived by his parents; children, Arthur Michael Palacios, Jr., Savannah Palacios and Aaron Felix Palacios; granddaughter, Eliana Palacios; sisters, Karen Palacios and husband Jose Mendoza and Amy Sheffield and husband Nathaniel; brother, Steven Lee Ledesma, all of Tyler; fiancée, Esmeralda Casimiro, of Longview; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Adam John Palacios in 2012 and his cousin, Alexander Simon Ledezma in 2013.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
