Bennie passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in Tyler.
He was born on March 6, 1927 in Martins Mill to Harmon Edgar and Minta Marie Mewborn Jones. Bennie was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandad. He loved to hunt, was a nature lover, and a Black Powder enthusiastic. Bennie proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Bennie is survived by his daughters, Kay Arrington and her husband, Jim, of Beckville; Jean Roberts, of Arp; and Janet Schmidt and her husband, Richard, of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Jack Runnels and his wife, Tammy, Kim Duncan and her husband, Sandy, Courtney Catalena and her husband, Bill, Tracey Singletary, Jessica Adams and her husband, Clay, Hollie Britton and her husband, Josh and Larry Roberts and his wife, Sindy; and nine great-grandchildren.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Joyce Marie Moon Jones.
