Bettie A. Ellis

Bettie A Ellis, 80 passed away May 7, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Pleasant Retreat Cemetery with Evangelist Glenn Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends at the visitation on Friday, May 11th from 6:00-8:00pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Bettie was born on December 16, 1937 in Daingerfield, Texas to Marvin and Bessie Jones Vaughn.

Survivors include: two sons Donald and Theresa Ellis of Bullard, and Keith and Lauren Ellis of Athens; daughter-in-law Katie Ellis of Flint; daughter Randi Ellis of Flint; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers Donald Vaughn of Midlothian, and Neal Vaughn of Daingerfield, three sisters Pat Brown of Longview, Zeldie Eaton of La Porte, and Dorothy Lanier of Daingerfield.

She is preceded in death by parents, her husband William Thomas Ellis, son Larry Thomas Ellis and daughter Linda Ellis.
