Betty F Massey

Betty worked for the Midland Independent School District for 20 years as a pastry cook. Upon her retirement she went RVing, fishing, and traveled much of the US. She went to Canada and Japan, too.

She was survived by her husband of 66 years, Jerry, her son James and her two daughters Patricia and Cynthia, as well as her grandchildren Pete and Beth Long, Billie and Aaron Bryant, Marina Joubert, JJ and Rachel, Caleb, Jacob, Laci Nelson, Jeff Carey, Anaka, James, and Brandon. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Shawn, Lexi, Harlee, Aden, James, Sarina, ShyAnne, John David, Sara Nelson, Hooley, Lila, and Jonah.

A time of visitation for Betty will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 E. First Street, Tyler, TX. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lloyd James Funeral Home. A burial will occur Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Mason Cemetery in Arp, Texas.
