Betty Marie Ribble

Betty Marie Carter Ribble went to be with her Lord on December 19, 2013. She was 76 years old. At the time of her death she lived in Winona. Betty was born in Wellman to the late David and Audie Carter on December 24, 1936. Betty met Don Ribble while in high school in Seagraves. They married on March 3rd of 1953 and had 60 beautiful years together. She was a loving mother of two daughters Patti Scoggins and Julie Kimbro. Betty was a registered nurse and worked at Carrier as a shift nurse, UT Health Center, and The Children's place of Tyler among others during her long career. She will always be remembered for her loving spirit, faith and sense of humor. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister Beatrice Smith and brother Raymond Carter. She is survived by her husband Don, her daughter Patti and her husband Lee Scoggins, her daughter Julie and her husband Holt Kimbro; grandchildren Laura Gray and her husband Glenn, Becky Davis and her husband Andrew, Matthew MacWhirter, Kelsey Kimbro and her fiance Brad Collins, and Andrew Scoggins and girlfriend Whitney Armus. She also is survived by three great grandchildren, Alex and Audrey Davis, and Rowan Gray.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Wilt officiating.

Pallbears will be Matthew MacWhirter, Andrew Scoggins, Glenn Gray, Andrew Davis, Bradley Collins, and Dustin Hibbert.
