Carolyn Sue Phillips

Graveside services for Carolyn Sue Phillips, 67, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Ebenezer Cemetery in Arp with Pastor David Cason officiating. Lloyd James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Tyler.

She was born on February 27, 1947, in Tyler to the late Lewis Ray and Goldie Oleta Baker Satterwhite. She was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church. Carolyn was known as Mee-maw and loved animals, especially her dogs. Carolyn will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Byron Earl Phillips, of Tyler; three daughters, Marcella Phillips, of Tyler, Cathy Malloch, of Oklahoma; and Tracie Osborne and her husband Chad, of Tyler; one son, Conway Phillips and his wife Tina, of Sundown; grandchildren, Amber, Ami, Matthew, Haven, Jake, Tyler, Tory and Regan; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ethan and Eva; niece,Tammy Howard; nephew, Lonnie Howard; and her sister, Nancy Robbins and her husband, Ted, of Longview.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
